I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! We had a long day of fun with family, egg hunts and tons of chocolate! Both of the kids were really into the egg hunt this year and all of the grandparents were there to be part of the fun. I was really excited about the Easter outfits I had for the kids. This was the first year that I made something actually make something for the kids to wear for the holiday.
George's tie was a little last minute, but I am so glad I made it! I didn't want him to be left out of the Easter outfit specialness. I found the tutorial for his tie via my Pinterest addiction. The Pinterest link took me to this site, which lead me to the actually tutorial here. I am glad I went to both blogs because my first stop did give me some good advice on the neck sizing. The tie took about 10 minutes to make and needed very little fabric. My dapper little man got lots of oohs and aahs as he made his entrance at church. There will definitely be many more of these ties to come!
Easter was great and something about seeing my little babies looking so sweet really reinvigorated the sewing bug in me. I am so excited for project run and play, which starts today!!! (I promise I was not trying to rhyme just now!) I am going to be sewing along as best I can. And at the end of the month is Kids Clothes Week Challenge at elsie marley, I participated in last year's fall challenge and had a lot of fun. Are looking forward to sewing this month? Any projects in the works? I would love to hear about them!

Your kids look like Eastery perfection! (I should be sewing right now. Just so you know :) )
